Johann Strauss: Aus der Heimath
Arrangement for string orchestra of the Polka-Mazur „Aus der Heimath“, originally written for piano, by Johann Strauss (son). The waltz-like miniature is written for two violin parts, violas, cello and double basses.
Not only thanks to my studies in orchestra conducting have I developed a big passion for the versatility and colourful sounds of orchestral music. In the course of my activities as a conductor, my efforts have resulted in arrangements for different ensembles as well as orchestral accompaniments for choir arrangements of which I would like to present several here.
I especially want to draw your attention to the clarinet concert “Impressions”, which you can listen to and look at here. Apart from the version for solo clarinet, there is also a version for solo flute available.
If you would like an arrangement which you can’t find here, please feel free to contact me. I will happily write an arrangement for your chosen ensemble!
